4、emisprescribedbyMIL-STD3007andprovidesplanning,design,construction,sustainment,restoration,andmodernizationcriteria,andappliestotheMilitaryDepartments,theDefenseAgencies,andtheDoDFieldActivitiesinaccordancewithUSD(AT&L)Memorandumdated29May2002.UFCwillbeusedforallDoDprojectsan
5、dworkforothercustomerswhereappropriate.AllconstructionoutsideoftheUnitedStatesisalsogovernedbyStatusofforcesAgreements(SOFA),HostNationFundedConstructionAgreements(HNFA),andinsomeinstances,BilateralInfrastructureAgreements(BIA.)Therefore,theacquisitionteammustensurecompliance
6、withthemorestringentoftheUFC,theSOFA,theHNFA,andtheBIA,asapplicable.UFCarelivingdocumentsandwillbeperiodicallyreviewed,updated,andmadeavailabletousersaspartoftheServices’responsibilityforprovidingtechnicalcriteriaformilitaryconstruction.Headquarters,U.S.ArmyCorpsofEngineers(H
7、QUSACE),NavalFacilitiesEngineeringCommand(NAVFAC),andAirForceCivilEngineerSupportAgency(AFCESA)areresponsibleforadministrationoftheUFCsystem.Defenseagenciesshouldcontactthepreparingservicefordocumentinterpretationandimprovements.TechnicalcontentofUFCistheresponsibilityoftheco
