4、INITIONS3.1VehicleIdentificationNumber(VIN):Astructuredcombinationofcharactersassignedtoavehiclebythemanufacturerforidentificationpurposes.3.2Incompletevehicle:Anassemblageconsistingasaminimumofframeandchassisstructurepowertrain,steeringsystem,suspensionsystemandbrakingsys
5、tem.3.3Manufacturer:Theorganizationresponsibleforthemanufactureofthevehicle.4-VINLOCATION4.1Itshallbelocatedonthefollowingplaces:4.1.1Onapartofthevehicleotherthantheglazingthatisnotdesignedtoberemovedexceptforrepair,insidethepassengercompartmentadjacenttotheleftwindshieldp
6、illarofpassengercars,multi-purposevehiclesandtruckswhoseGVWisnotmorethan3500kg.4.1.2EveryvehiclesshallhavetheVINaffixedorinscribedonthechassy/underframeorothersimilarstructure,ontheleftsideofthevehicleasdeterminedbythemanufacturer.1SAUDIARABIANSTANDARDSASO2251/20044.2VINlo
