3、urchaserinselectingandobtainingwithminimumdelaytheproperproductforhisparticularneed.ExistenceofsuchStandardsandPublicationsshallnotinanyrespectprecludeanymemberornonmemberofEIAfrommanufacturingorsellingproductsnotconformingtosuchStandardsandPublication

4、s,norshalltheexistenceofsuchStandardsandPublicationsprecludetheirvoluntaryusebythoseotherthanEIAmembers,whetherthestandardistobeusedeitherdomesticallyorinternationally.StandardsandPublicationsareadoptedbyEIAinaccordancewiththeAmericanNationalStandardsI

5、nstitute(ANSI)patentpolicy.Bysuchaction,EIAdoesnotassumeanyliabilitytoanypatentowner,nordoesitassumeanyobligationwhatevertopartiesadoptingtheStandardorPublication.ThisEIAStandardisconsideredtohaveInternationalStandardizationimplication,buttheInternatio

6、nalElectrotechnicalCommissionactivityhasnotprogressedtothepointwhereavalidcomparisonbetweentheEIAStandardandtheIECdocumentcanbemade.ThisStandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallsafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuseorallapplicableregulatoryrequirements.Itistheres
