3、dtheunskilled,angryforceswerestirringthatwouldprofoundlyalterthenation’spoliticsanditssocialideas.InthefirstdecadesaftertheCivilWar,Americansceasedtobeisolatedfromtheworldandfromeachother.ThetempooflifeacceleratedasAmericansbecameincreasinglymobile.2.literaryCharacteristicsof
