2、inginVenezuelatheNationalSystemofYouthandChildren'sOrchestrasandChoirs.SinceIwasaboy,inmyearlychildhood,Ialwayswantedtobeamusician,and,thankGod,Imadeit.Frommyteachers,myfamilyandmycommunity,Ihadallthenecessarysupporttobecomeamusician.AllmylifeI'vedreamedt
3、hatallVenezuelanchildrenhavethesameopportunitythatIhad.Fromthatdesireandfrommyheartstemmedtheideatomakemusicadeepandglobalrealityformycountry.Fromtheveryfirstrehearsal,Isawthebrightfutureahead.becausetherehearsalmeantagreatchallengetome.Ihadreceivedadonat
4、ionof50musicstandstobeusedby100boysinthatrehearsal.WhenIarrivedattherehearsal,only11kidshadshownup,andIsaidtomyself,"DoIclosetheprogramormultiplythesekids?"Idecidedtofacethechallenge,andonthatsamenight,Ipromisedthose11childrenI'dturnourorchestraintooneoft
5、heleadingorchestrasintheworld.Twomonthsago,IrememberedthatpromiseImade,whenadistinguishedEnglishcriticpublishedanarticleintheLondonTimes,askingwhocouldbethewinneroftheOrchestraWorldCup.Hementionedfourgreatworldorchestras,andthefifthonewasVenezuela'sYouthS
