7、etheirheartdefectisdetected.Ithasbeenestimatedthatatleast280infantswithanunrecognizedCCHDaredischargedeachyearfromnewbornnurseriesintheUnitedStates.Thesebabiesareatriskforhavingseriouscomplicationswithinthefirstfewdaysorweeksoflifeandoftenrequireemergencycare.
