1、IMDSWaiverAgreementFormPurpose:ThisformistoprovidesuppliersthatareeligibleforamodifiedmethodofIMDSsubmissionorIMDSWaiver.Itwillbethesupplier’sresponsibilitytoentertheM.S.ApprovalNumberinIMDS,onlyonpartsorassemblieswhereappropriate(seeA&Bsituationbelowandexamplespage2)GMrequiressupplier’smanagement

2、toacknowledgeunderstandingofthisagreement.Thesuppliermustverifytheappropriatesituationbeloworotherthatdescribestheirprocess,specifictothemanufacturingDUNSlistedbelow(onlyoneDUNSlocationpersheet).A)WaiverIMDS(includesNoMaterialreportedandNoMassWeightreportedontheIMDSdocumentsubmission)Supplierseque

3、ncesorkitsshippingcurrentGMPPAPapprovedpartsreceivedfromtheGMsupplierstotheGMAssemblyCenterorGMlocation–NoAssemblyisdonebythissupplierandnoGMpartisavailable.(GMApprovedSupplierresponsibleforPPAPandIMDS)B)WaiverIMDS(includesNoMaterialreported–MustprovideFinalAssemblyWeightontheIMDSdocument)Supplier

4、assembliescurrentGMPPAPapprovedpartsthathasaGMFinalAssemblyPartnumberreleasedbyGMEngineering.TheMaterialIMDSwillbeprovidedbytheapprovedGMsupplierduringPPAPwhichincludesthesinglepartIMDSmaterial&weight.ThesupplierdoingtheFinalAssemblytotheGMFinalAssemblyPartnumberwillprovidethemassweightontheIMDSsu
