3、sofCodeSectionI>SectionVandSectionVDIDivision1&2.7.3.1.2Inaccordancewiththisprocedureapulse・echotypeofultrasonicinstrumentshallbeusedforCodeproductexamination.Singleprobe,anglebeamscanningshallbetheprincipalmethod,ifnecessary,straightbeamscanningmayalsobeused.Allscanningme
4、thodsusedaremanual.7.3.1.1Thisprocedureisapplicableforultrasonicexaminationofbutt-welded,fullpenetratedjointinwrought(rolled,drawn,forgedorextruded)materialwiththicknessequaltoorgreaterthan5/16in.(8mm)detecting,locatingandevaluatingthereflectorsfromtheweldmetal,heataffecte
