4、mpetitionfromlow-costproducersinAsia[13,15,16].Theabilitygrowtohofmaritimetransporttonavigationandoperationisimpossiblewithoutinnovativetransformations.However,theglobalizationdoesnotbringinonlychallengesbutaslopresentsanopportunitytointernationalizesalesinnew,rapidlygrowingmartimemar
5、ketsandtherebytogenerateadditionalrevenues[27,28].ThereforeamongtheEuropeanimportantproblemswitginthenextfewyearsistherapiddevelopmentofenergy-savingvesselsandriskp-freeshippingtechnologies;implantationofship'spropulsionsystemsdifferingbyhighhydrodynamicefficency,aswellasimprovemrntof
6、noshoremanagementtechniques.Toolstowardsthesegoalsareincrasedpartnershipsbothinthe"knowledgetriangle"-research,edeucatinon,innovationandinthe"innovativenesstriangle"-idea,developmentandimplementation[2].AcomprehensiveinvestigationofbusinessavtivitiesdemonstratesthattheEUMenmberStateda
