2、heideologicalrelationshipstothemoreappliedspheresoftranslation.Thecompetenttranslatorgoesthroughaseeminglyroundaboutprocessofanalysistransferandrestructuringinordertoachievedynamicequivalence.Awarenessofthecomplexityofthetranslationprocessandavoidanceofthesimplisticviewwhichregardtranslationofpol

3、iticaldiscourseasthemereprocessoftransferringwordsfromonetexttoanotherwillresultinrealizingtheimportanceoftheideologyunderlyingatranslation.Inthepresentstudyweexaminedhowunderlying,sociallysharedrepresentationsaswellaspersonalmodelsmayinfluencethestructuresofdiscourse.Throughananalysisoftheideolo

4、gicallybaseddiscourseofpoliticsintheeditorialarticlesinnewspapersallwiththesamesubject,wehaveobtainedsomeinsightintohowvariouscategoriesindifferentlevelsofdiscourseplayaroleintheproductionofmeaning.Theempiricalimplicationsofthisstudydrawoutattentiontotheimportanceofacquiringcriticalawarenessofpow

5、erandideologicalrelationshipinpoliticaldiscourse.Wehaveobtainedsomeinsightsonwhytheknowledgeofbothmicro-andmacro-textprocessingandawarenessabouttheprocessofnaturalizationofideologiesondiscourselevelsshouldformanessentialportionofthetranslator’sskills.Ontheotherhand,thecompetenttranslatorshouldals
