3、developedintothemostinfluentialreligion.IntheAmericanreligion,Christianity(Protestant)themost,about156millionpeople,accountingfor57%ofthetotalpopulationoftheUnitedstates.TherearemainlyBaptist,Wesley,Lutheran,CalvinZon,AnglicanChurch,holychurch,etc.,inaddition,therearedozensof
4、smallerdenominationsandinterdenominationalinternationalorganizations.Eachdenominationhasmorethan400collegesanduniversities.Christianityhaspenetratedintoeveryfieldofsociety.BaptismisthelargestdenominationinAmericanChristianity(Protestantism),andisdividedinto150factions.Intheea
5、rlyseventeenthCentury,theFirstBaptistdevoteescamefromEnglandtotheUnitedstates.TheFirstBaptistChurchinAmericain1639.In1707,the5BaptistchurchesinPhiladelphiaestablishedthePhiladelphiaBaptistchurch.Sincethen,anumberoforganizationshavebeenestablished.TheSouthernBaptistChurchisone
6、ofthelargestchurchesinBaptistChurch.Ithasorganizedchurchesin50states,andmorethan3.8localchurches,withabout15000000followers.WesleyZonwasfirstintroducedbyIrishimmigrants.In1784theChurchofWesleywasfounded.Inthefollowing50years,WesleyZondevelopedrapidlyinthenewreclamationarea.In
