3、processincomputationalfluiddynamics(CFD)software.Theairflowthroughthepickupheadwastreatedasacontinuum,whileparticlesweremodeledasdispersedphase.TheReynoldsstressmodel(RSM)anddiscreteparticlemodel(DPM)werechoseninordertopredicttheairandparticlesflowaccurately.Thenumerical
4、simulationresultsshowthatthesweeper-travelingspeedandthepressuredropacrossthepickupheadhavegreateffectsontheparticleremovalperformance.Theremovalefficiencyofparticlesincreaseswiththelowersweeper-travelingspeedorthehigherpressuredrop,andsmallsizeparticleshavehighergradeef
5、ficiencythanthatoflargesizeparticlesunderthesameoperatingconditions.Moreover,theremovalmassflowrateofparticlesincreaseswiththehighersweeper-travelingspeed.Therefore,atrade-offshouldbeconsideredamonghighremovalefficiency,lowenergyconsumption,andhighremovalmassflowrate.Thr
