3、ns.Contact,frictionandplasticyieldingwerealsotakenintoaccount.Fortheglobalbehaviourofwireropestrand,i.e.loadvs.strainandloadvs.torque("xed-end)orloadvs.strandtwistrate(free-end),the"niteelementresultsshowedbetteragreementwiththeexperimentalresultsofUttingandJones(JournalofStrainAnalysisforEnginee
