3、sreportsregardingasociopoliticalincidentinChina,wetesttheassociationsandcausalrelationshipsbetweenthesalienceofopinionframesandmediaframes.Onlinepublicopinionplaysanimportantroleintransformingtheoriginallocaleventintoanationallyprominentissue.Italsoexer
4、tsasignificantframe-buildingimpactonsubsequentmediareportsbutonlyintheearlystageofcoverage.However,themediaarenotpassiveinthistwo-wayprocessandadaptonlineframesasnecessary.Althoughmediacoverageistheprimarysourceofinformationfornetizens,itdoesnotsetframes
