3、trolledmaglevvehicleandguidewaygirdersbyconsideringthenonlinearformsofelectromagneticforceandcurrentexactly.Forthis,governingequationsforthemaglevvehiclewithtendegreesoffreedomarederivedbyconsideringthenonlinearequationofelectromagneticforce,surfaceirregularity,andthedeflection

4、oftheguidewaygirder.Next,equationsofmotionoftheguidewaygirder,basedonthemodesuperpositionmethod,areobtainedbyapplyingtheUTM-01controlalgorithmforelectromagneticsuspensiontomakethemaglevvehiclesystemstable.Finally,thenumericalstudiesundervariousconditionsarecarriedouttoinvestiga

5、tethedynamiccharacteristicsofthemaglevsystembasedonconsiderationofthelinearandnonlinearelectromagneticforces.Fromnumericalsimulation,itisobservedthatthedynamicresponsesbetweennonlinearandlinearanalysismakelittledifferenceinthestableregion.Butunstableresponsesinnonlinearanalysis

6、underpoorconditionscansometimesbeobtainedbecausethenominalair-gapistoosmalltocontrolthemaglevvehiclestably.However,itisdemonstratedthatthisunstablephenomenoncanberemovedbymakingthenominalair-gaprelatedtoelectromagneticforcelarger.Consequentlyitisjudgedthatthenonlinearanalysisme
