3、hplantscouldsurvivesaltstressistocompart-(Bonafacciaetal.2003).Buckwheatseedscontainmentalizesodiumionsawayfromthecytosol.Inthe10–12.5%proteinandhavehighnutritionalvaluepresentwork,transgenicbuckwheatplantsoverex-(Greenwayetal.1980).Flavones,flavonoids
4、,sterols,++pressingAtNHX1,avacuolarNa/Hantiportergenefagopyrin,andthiamin-bindingproteinsinbuckwheatfromArabidopsisthaliana,wereregeneratedafterseedspossesspotentialeffectsintreatingsometransformationwithAgrobacteriumtumefaciens.chronicdiseases(Krefte
5、tal.2006).FlavonoidsareTheseplantswereabletogrow,flowerandaccumu-agroupofpolyphenolicplantsecondarymetaboliteslatemorerutininthepresenceof200mmol/lsodiumimportantforplantbiologyandhumannutrition.Inchloride.Moreover,thecontentofimportantnutrientstheseco
6、mpounds,flavonolsarepotentantioxidants,inbuckwheatwasnotaffectedbythehighsalinityofandtheirdietaryintakeiscorrelatedwithareducedthesoil.Theseresultsdemonstratedthepotentialriskofcardiovasculardiseases(Bovyetal.2002).Invalueofthesetransgenicplantsforagr
7、icultureuseinbuckwheat,themaincomponentofflavonoids(80%)salinesoil.isrutin,aflavonolglycoside(quercetin3-rhamno-sylglucoside).RutincanantagonizetheincreaseofKeywordsFagopyrumesculentumMoenchSaltcapillaryfragilityassociatedwithhaemorrhagicdis-++toleranc
