5、egradientofsurfacetension/Laplacepressureandexternalstimuli,whichhasbeenintensivelystudiedonsolidorliquidinterface.However,itstillfaceschallengesofslowresponserate,anduncontrollabletransportspeedanddirection.Here,wedemonstratefastresponsiveandcontrollableliquidtransporton
6、asmartmagneticfluid/nanoarrayinterface,i.e.,acompositeinterface,viamodulationofanexternalmagneticfield.Thewettabilityofthecompositeinterfacetowaterinstantaneouslyrespondstogradientmagneticfieldduetothemagneticallydrivencompositeinterfacegradientroughnesstransitionthattakespl
7、acewithinamillisecond,whichisatleast1orderofmagnitudefasterthanthatofotherresponsivesurfaces.Awaterdropletcanfollowthemotionofthegradientcompositeinterfacestructureasitrespondstothegradientmagneticfieldmotion.Moreover,thewaterdroplettransportdirectioncanbecontrolledbymodul
