5、.TheeffectsofOMMTonthecellularstructureandmechanicalpropertiesofthePOE/EVA/OMMTnanocompositefoamswereinvestigated.ItwasfoundthatOMMTplayedanimportantroleinaffectingthemicrostructure.ComparingwithPOE/EVAfoamthenanocompositefoamswiththeadditionof1-3phrOMMTshow

6、edsmallercellsizeandthestructureuniformityoffoamswasimproved.ThedensityofPOE/EVA/OMMTnanocompositesampleswaslowerobviously,meanwhilethemechanicalpropertiesofthefoamedsampleswasenhanced.1.IntorductionNowadays,polymer-layeredsilicatenanocomposites(PLSN)havearo

7、usedwidespreadconcerninbothoftheindustryandtheacademia.PLSNexhibitadifferentpropertiescombinationcomparedwithconventionallyfilledpolymers,thusopeningnewtechnologicalandeconomicperspectives[1,2].Amongthenumerousnanomaterials,montmorillonite(MMT)playsanimportan
