5、tion(SS)topreventdeleteriousinteractionsofcoatedstructuralcomponentswiththeambientplasma.NASALewisResearchCenterWorkPackage4initiatedthedevelopmentofaplasmacontactorsystemcomprisedofaPowerElectronicsUnit(PEU),anExpellantManagementUnit(EMU),acommandanddatainterface,andaPlas
6、maContactorUnit(PCU).AbreadboardPEUwasdesignedandfabricated,andcontainedacathodeheateranddischargepowersupply,whichwererequiredtooperatethePCU,acontrolandauxiliarypowerconverter,anEMUinterface,acommandandtelemetryinterface,andacontroller.Thecathodeheateranddischargesupplie
