2、eadvantagesofsmallersizeandlighterweightthanconventionalPPUs.ThethrustperformanceofamagneticlayertypeHallthrusterdevelopedatKyushuUniversitywiththisnewPPUwasinvestigated;itshowedagoodperformanceascomparedwithconventionalpowersupplies.Thethrusttopowerratiowasimprovedto58m

6、ers[5][7]offeranattractivebutasdischargemaintained,withthePPUallowingnaturalcombinationofhighthrustefficiency,exceeding50%,withdischargeoscillation.TheharmonizedPPUprovidespowerinaspecificimpulserangeof10003000s,ahigherionbeamaccordancewiththefluctuating(overtime)impedanceo
