2、sentative.Contractor'sSafetyManagershallberesponsibleforinitiatingtheSafetyProgram,ensuringthatjobsitesafetyrequirementsandproceduresarebeingaccomplished,conductingsafetyinspectionsofworkbeingperformed,conductingweeklysafetymeetingswithcraftemployeesandsubmittingaweeklyreporttoOwner’sProjectS

3、afetyDepartmentdocumentingsafetyactivities.TheSafetyManagerwillalsoberesponsibleforacontinuingsurveyofitsoperations,toensurethattheprobablecausesofinjuryoraccidentsarecontrolledandthatoperatingequipment,toolsandfacilitiesareused,inspectedandmaintainedasrequiredbyapplicablesafetyandhealthregul

4、ations.A.GENERALOwner’smanagementatalllevelsisdedicatedtoassuringthatitsemployeesandothersareprovidedasafeandhealthyplacetoworkoneachofitsprojects.Contractor/Subcontractorshallbedirectlyresponsibleforinitiatingandmaintainingapositivesafetyefforttopreventhisemployeesfromworkingunderconditionsw

5、hichareunsafe,unhealthyorunsanitary.ThesafetyprogramhasbeenpreparedtoassisteachContractorinsatisfyingitsmoral,contractualandlegalaccidentpreventionresponsibilities,insuchamannerthatasafe,efficientoperationisassured.ItincorporatesthesafetyrequirementsandsafetyrulesofSABIC,theOwner,andcompliesw

6、ithrecognizedstandardssuchasOSHA(OSHA,CFR1926forConstruction)andapplicableANSIandindustrystandards.Contractor/Subcontractorshallundernocircumstancesputanyofhisownemployeesatriskorjeopardizethehealthandsafetyofanyemployeeofotherprojectparticipantsworkingontheproject.ContractorSupervisoryperson

7、nelshallseethatthereisanadequatesafetyprocedureforthespecificjobtobedoneandthatallproceduresarewellunderstoodandfollowed.Contractorshallpostsafetysigns,postersandbannersatworkareaspromotingsafetyandinformingworkersofdangersandhazardsassociate
