4、-methoxyphenylglycerol-β-β-eliminationofγ-sulfoneligninderivativesundermildguaiacylether.Itdemonstratedthatthemildalkalidegra-conditions.Thekeytothisreactionwastheassistanceofdationoftheα-sulfonederivativeproceedsefficiently,i.e.,theneighbouringsulfonylgro

5、upattheγ-positionforthetheelectron-withdrawingsulfonegroupatα-positioncon-ethercleavage.However,intheβ-O-4substructurewithtributestothecleavageoftheβ-O-4linkageinthesameacylgroupatγ-position,thesulfonegroupcannotbeintro-mechanismasthatintheγ-TTSAmethod.duc
