5、s”withbothnegativepermittivityandpermeability,alsoknownasleft-handed(LH)ordouble-negative(DNG)materials[].Inparticular,thetheoreticalpossibilityofsubwavelengthfocusingandperfectlens-inghasfosteredthissuddenincreaseininterest,startingfromtheseminalworkofPendryonthistop
6、ic[].Itisclearhowamajorbreakthroughinthemetamaterialtechnologywillbeexperiencedwhentheseconceptsarereadilyappliedtothevisiblefrequencies,forwhichsubwavelengthfocusingandimagingareprimaryapplications[–].Inthemicrowaveregime,negative-indexmetamaterialshavebeenconstr
