3、tprobabilisticdatabases,queryevaluationoverfew.Thishasledtomuchworkonextendingrelationaldatabasescorrelateddatahasreceivedmuchlessattentioneventhoughthetosupportuncertainty,andonefficientlyevaluatingdifferenttypessupportforcorrelationsisessentialformany

4、naturalapplicationsofqueriesoversuchdatabases(see[40]forarecentsurvey).ofprobabilisticdatabases,e.g.,informationextraction,datainte-Queryevaluationoverprobabilisticdatabasesisunfortunatelygration,computervision,etc.Inthispaper,wedevelopanovelknowntobe#

5、P-hardevenundertuple-independenceassumptionsapproachforefficientlyevaluatingprobabilisticqueriesovercor-forperhapsthesimplestclassofqueries,namely,conjunctivequeriesrelateddatabaseswherecorrelationsarerepresentedusingafactorwithoutself-joins[10].Tooverc

6、omethislimitation,anumberofgraph,aclassofgraphicalmodelswidelyusedforcapturingcorre-differentapproacheshavebeenexploredthatcanbecategorized,lationsandperformingstatisticalinference.Ourapproachexploitsatahighlevel,intoextensionalapproachesandintensional

7、ap-thespecificvaluesofthefactorparametersandthedeterminismproaches.Inanextensionalapproach,thequeryevaluationprocessinthecorrelations,collectivelycalledlocalstructure,toreduceisguidedsolelybythequeryexpression,andqueryoperatorsarethecomplexityofqueryeva
