3、edtargetswithahybridradarsystemusingsignallevelfusionisconsidered.Thesystemconsistsoftworeceivers:oneisco-locatedwiththetransmitterandtheotherislocatedfarfromthetransmitter.Theareaofinterest,wherethetransmitterisfocusedon,isdividedintogrids,whichareformedbycircu

4、larrangebinsofthemonostaticreceiverandellipticalrangebinsofthebistaticreceiver.Assumingthesegridsaregoodenoughtoresolvethetargets(i.e.,eachgridhasatmostonetargetandviceversa),theamplitudesofthetargets(correspondingtoallgrids)thatmaximizethelikelihoodsofthesignal

5、sobtainedfrombothreceiversaredetermined.Theseoptimumvaluesarethencomparedagainstathresholdforthefinalde-cision.Simulationstudiesareperformedtodemonstratetheproposedalgorithmforhybridradarsystemwithunresolvedtargets.Thesimulationresultsconfirmtheenhancementindetect
