2、fedsemicirclepatchaddition,theCPWfeedisparticularlysuitableformillimetreantennafor2.4GHzWLANapplication.ThisAntennasatisfieswaveapplicationsbecauseofreducedsurfacewaveexcitationthelicensedfrequencyband(2.4to2.480GHz)havingreturnlossinelectricallythicksubstrates.Oneofthemainissueswithlowerthan-1
3、0dB.ThisantennaisdesignedonasubstratewithCPW-FEDslotantennaistoprovideaneasyimpedanceεmatchingtotheCPWline[4].Printedslotantennasfedbyadielectricconstantr=4.4.Withasize30mmx27mmx1.75mmthecoplanarwaveguide(CPW)havemanyadvantagesoverantennaoperatesforWLANapplication.Theeffectsofshape,length,size,
4、andlocationoffeedingpoint,substrateandtheirmicrostripantennas.Besidessmallsize,lightweight,lowcost,thicknesshavebeenevaluated.Andobtained2Dradiationgoodperformance,easeoffabricationandinstallation,andlowpatternswithelevation,VSWR,Returnloss,gainandantennaprofile,theyexhibitwiderbandwidth,lowerd
5、ispersionandefficiency.ThesimulationresultsofthisantennaareanalyzedbylowerradiationlossthanmicrostripantennasbesidestheeasyusingMethodofMoment(MoM)fromIE3Dsoftware.ofbeingshuntedwithactiveandpassiveelementsrequiredformatchingandgainimprovement.TheshapeinsidetheapertureKeywords—CPW-fedslotantenn
