2、eneedforwirelesscommunicationtoolsintegrat-ableintogarments.Inliterature,severalplanarantennadesignsbasedontextilematerialshavebeenpresented,however,withoutanadaptedfeedingstructureforwearableapplications.Anaper-ture-coupledpatchantenna(ACPA)meetsthisrequirementsincetherigidcoaxialfeedisr
3、eplacedbyamicrostripfeedlinethatcou-plesitspowerintotheantennathroughanapertureinthegroundplane.ThisletterpresentsthefirstACPAentirelymadeoutoftex-tilematerial.Theresultisahighlyefficient,fullyflexible,andwear-ableantennathatisintegratableintogarments.IndexTerms—Microstrippatchantenna,smartt
