6、death.Manyofhisworksaregenerallyconsideredpartofthedarkromanticismgenre.Hebelievedthatqualityworkshouldbebriefandfocusonaspecificsingleeffect.Poe'swritingreflectshisliterarytheories,whichhepresentedinhiscriticismandalsoinessayssuchas"ThePoeticPrinciple".
