2、sallowedtotransmitabatchofupdataexchangefrom/totoµpacketsinonetransmissioncycle.Inordertocontributechanneliassignmentdevicesthatwonreservationreservationcontroltocooperativesensing(andthussupporttheoperationofthebeaconCPAN),eachnodeneedtoperformsensingduty,thedurationofchanneli-1whichi
3、sproportionaltothenumberofpacketssentinabatch,ashoptoregulatedbyavariablepenaltycoefficient.Spectrumsensingcanchanneljbepreemptedbythereceptionactivityofthenodeandresumedinthefollowingsuperframe.Wemodelthissystemandshowtherelationshipbetweendelay,fairnessandstabilitywithrespecttoFig.1.S

5、hichtoachievethebalancebetweendatatransmission/receptiontheavailablespectrumopportunitiesor‘holes’aredynamicallyandsensing,eachnodeisobligedtoperformsensingfordetectedandusedforcommunicationbyspectrallyagileafixedtimeintervalofkpsuperframesbeforeanyfurtherdevices[1],[3].Initiallyenvisag
6、edforuseinwideareadatatransmissioncanbegranted.(Thisapproachalsoensuresnetworks,OSAtechnologyisequallywellsuitedtowirelesssmoothoperationoftheCPANthroughaccuratechannelpersonalareanetworks(PANs)builtwithinexpensivedevices,sensing.)Receptioncanpreemptsensingandisnotpenalized,whereitcanb
