5、rRiverischaracterizedbyahighcontentofnaturalorganiccompounds(NOC)substantiallyaffecting,inwatertreatment,thequalityofdrinkingwaterobtained.SinceNOCareasubstrateensuringvitalactivitiesofmicroorganisms,theirpresenceindefiniteconcentrationsdeterminesbiologicalstabilityorinstabil
6、ityofdrinkingwater.Waterbiologicalstabilityisastatewherebytherearenoconditionsforreproductionofcoliformandheterotrophicbacteria[1]and,accordingly,secondarywaterpollution.Intransportationandstorageofwatertherepeatedgrowthofmicroorganismsmayresultinthedeteriorationofbacterialqual
7、ities,taste,andgustofthewater,increasescorrosionandpromotesthegrowthofinvertebratehydrobiontsinthesystem[2].Themainfactordeterminingbiologicalstabilityofthewateristhepresenceinitofbiologicallyaccessibleorganiccarbon(BAOC).BAOCisidentifiedasafractionofsolubleorganiccarbon,whichm
