4、yimportantskill.However,manyprojectmanagersarenotabletosuccessfullyleadprojectsduetoadeficiencyofthenecessarymanagementskills.Commonlyreferredtoas“softskills”,interpersonalskillsincludeleadership,communication,negotiation,expectationsmanagement,influenci
5、ng,problem-solving,anddecision-making.Softskillsarelargelyintangible,notassociatedwithadeliverableoraconcreteoutput,andaregenerallyemployedwithouttheuseoftoolsortemplates.“Hardskills”,thatis,themoretechnicalaspectsoftheprojectmanager’srole,generallyinvol
6、vethecreationofatangibledeliverablesuchasaworkbreakdownstructure,projectschedule,criticalpathdiagram,earnedvaluereports,projectbudgets,dashboards,andsoforth.Theseskillsaremoretechnicalinnature,andtheyoftenincorporatetheuseoftoolssuchasschedulingsoftware,
