2、valuefemalefatness?UsingtheStandardCros~flulturaiSample,weinvestigatedpredictionsderivedfromseveralso-cioecologicalhypothesesrelatedtothreebiologicalfunctionsofhumanfemalebodyfat(insulation,storageofcalories,andregulationoffertility).Resultssuggestthatattitudestowardfatness
3、inwomenarerelatedcross-culturallyto(1)reliabilityoffoodsupply,(2)climate,(3)relativesocialdominanceofwomen,(4)thevalueplacedonwomen'swork,and(5)theprobabilitythattheexpressionofadolescentsexualitywillhavead-verseconsequencesongirls.Thesehypothesesmaybeusefulinprovidinganult
