3、everalbitsperhourdemandsofthehardenergyconstraintassociatedwithlowupto10Mbps.Thechallengeistoaccommodatethisrangeofapplicationswithinasinglewirelessnetworkbasedonasuitablypowerwirelesssensordevices,withthequalityofserviceflexibleandpowerefficientmedium

4、accesscontrolprotocol.To(QoS)demandsofthewiderangeofsensingandcontrolthisend,wepresentaMedicalMediumAccessControlapplications.Forexample,abatterypoweredimplanted(MedMAC)protocolforenergyefficientandadaptablechannelmedicaldeviceideallymusthavealifetimeo

5、fupto10years.accessinbodyareanetworks.TheMedMACincorporatesaUnlikeotherwirelessnetworks,itisgenerallyimpracticaltonovelsynchronisationmechanismandinitialpowerefficiencychargeorreplaceexhaustedbatteries,andthereforebatterysimulationsshowthattheMedMACpro

6、tocoloutperformstheIEEE802.15.4protocolfortwoclassesofmedicalapplications.lifetimedefinesnodelifetime.SincethetransceiverKeywords—BAN,wireless,sensor,network,protocol,MAC.communicationoperationsconsumemuchmoreenergythantheprocessingoperations,itisaprim
