3、ract.Weintroduceanewmechanism—theforget-remembermechanismintothespreadingprocess.Equippedwithsuchamechanismanindividualispronetoforgetthe“message”receivedandremembertheoneforgotten,namelyswitchinghisstatebetweenactive(withmessage)andinactive(withoutmessage).The
4、probabilityofstateswitchisgovernedbylinearorexponentialforget-rememberfunctionsofhistorytimewhichismeasuredbythetimeelapsedsincethemostrecentstatechange.Ourextensivesimulationsrevealthattheforget-remembermechanismhassignificanteffectsonthesaturationofmessagesprea
5、ding,andmayevenleadtoaterminationofspreadingundercertainconditions.Thisfindingmayshedsomelightonhowtocontrolthespreadingofepidemics.Itisfoundthatpercolation-likephasetransitionscanoccur.Byinvestigatingthepropertiesofclusters,formedbyconnected,activeindividuals,w
