6、logical,experimentallaboratory,andrisk-assessmentmethodsthatcouldproduceinternationallycomparableresults,andthedevelopmentofhumanresourcesinthefieldofchemicalsafety.OtheractivitiescarriedoutbytheIPCSincludethedevelopmentofknow-howforcopingwithchemicalaccidents,
7、strengtheningcapabilitiesforpreventionofanresponsetochemicalaccidentsandtheirfollow-up,coordinationoflaboratorytestingandepidemiologicalstudies,andpromotionofresearchonthemechanismsofthebiologicalactionofchemicals.TheInter-OrganizationProgrammefortheSoundManage
