3、riteriaforexponentialstabilityfortheclosed-loopNCSanddesignproceduresforstabilisingcontrollersarepresentedbyusingtheapproachthatcombinestheaveragedwelltimeandasynchronousdynamicsystemmethods.Inthecaseswherethenetwork-induceddelaysaresmallmostofthetimeandlargedelaysdonotoccurfrequently,thepro
4、poseddesignmethodfortheNCSmayprovidelessconservativeresultsthansomeotherexistingones.Anillustrativeexampleisgiventoshowtheeffectivenessoftheproposedmethod.1Introductionstabilisetheplantforallthedelaysnotlargerthanaprespecifiedupperboundofthedelays(e.g.theresultsRecently,themodelling,analysisa
5、ndsynthesisproblemofobtainedbythesampled-datacontrolapproach[8,9],andthenetworkedcontrolsystems(NCSs)havebeenahotthoseobtainedbythedelay-dependentapproach[6]).researchtopic,andhaveattractedmuchresearchinterestHowever,itisanimportantobservationthat,whenthe[1–3].Manynewproblemssuchasnetwork-in
6、ducednetworkloadsarenotveryheavyandwhenthenetworksdelays,packetdropoutsanddata-rateconstraintshaveruninawell-balancedway,thenetwork-induceddelayscanemergedandbecomeatopicofsignificantinteresttothebeverysmall,andlargedelaysoccurintermittentlyonlycontrolcommunity[4].Amongtheseproblems,network-w
