4、ctionandsoon.4DCADDespitethesebenefits,severalorganizationalandproject-specificbarriershavehinderedthewidespreadCommercialprojectsadoptionof4DCAD.Inordertoreconcilethetheoreticalbenefitsof4DmodelswiththepracticaldifficultiesInfrastructureprojectsBenefitsfacedinimplementa
5、tion,thereisanurgentneedtoexploretheimplementationof4DmodelsonVisualizationconstructionsitesaswellastheperceptionsofintendedusers/beneficiariestowardsthisimplementation.ConstructabilityThispaperaimstoaddressthisneedandcontributetoourunderstandingofhow4DmodelsmustbePr
6、ojectprogressreviewintroduced,positionedandimplementedonconstructionsites,soastomaximizeboththeiracceptabilityandtheirusefulness.Wedescribetwo4Dmodelsofinfrastructureprojectsandtwo4Dmodelsofcommercialprojectsthathavebeenbuiltandimplemented.Throughaprocessofstructure
7、dandunstructuredinterviewingthepapergaugestheresponseofprojectparticipantsacrossvariousorganizationallevelsoneachoftheseprojectsastotheusefulnessof4Dinprojectplanningandcontrol.Throughqualitativeandstatisticalanalysisofthedataweestablishthat4DCADislikelytobemostbene
