4、RCOTSteady-StateWorkingGroup(SSWG)operatesunderthedirectionoftheReliabilityandOperationsSubcommittee(ROS).TheSSWGisanon-votingworkinggroupwhosemembersincluderepresentativesfromERCOTTransmissionServiceProviders(TSPs)andERCOTstaff.TheSSWG’smainobjectivesaretoproduce

5、seasonalandfuturesteady-statebasecases.TheSSWGmeetstwiceayeartoaccomplishthesetasks,andatothertimesduringtheyearasneededtoresolveanyimpendingpower-flowmodelingissuesortoprovidetechnicalsupporttotheROS.TheSSWGresponsibilitiesarefurtherdescribedasfollows:·Developand

6、maintainsteady-statebasecasesforthespring,summer,fall,andwinterseasonsoftheupcomingyear.Thecases,collectivelyknownasDataSetA,areproducedbytheSSWGbyapproximatelyAugust1stonanannualbasis.Theseseasonalcasesconsistofbothanonpeakandanoff-peakcaseforeachofthefourseasons

7、.·Developandmaintainsteady-statebasecasesforthefivefutureyearsfollowingtheupcomingyear.Thecases,collectivelyknownasDataSetB,areproducedbytheSSWGbyapproximatelyOctober15thonanannualbasis.Thesefuturecasesconsistoffivesummeron-peakcases,andoneminimumcase.·Maintainand
