3、ity.Focusingontheinfluenceofpost-structuralisttheoryonpostcolo-nialtheoryandviceversa,thisstudysuggeststhatautobiographyconstitutesageneralphilosophicalresistancetouniversalconceptsandtheories.OfferingafreshperspectiveonfamiliarcriticalfigureslikeEdwardW.SaidandGayatriChakravortySpivak,byputting
4、theminthecontextofreadingsoftheworkofJacquesDerrida,GillesDeleuze,andAlainBadiou,thisbookrelatesthetheoryofautobiographytoexpressionsofnewuniversalismsthat,togetherwithpostcolonialtheory,rethinkandextendnormsofexperience,investigation,andknowledge.DavidHuddartisAssistantProfessorintheDepartmen
