4、yboundtotheouterAccepted25June2010surfaceofboththeconsideredSWCNTsandtheobtainedadsorptionenergyvaluesandbindingdistancesAvailableonline3July2010aretypicalforthephysisorption.WefindthatDMMPadsorptivecapabilityofmetallicCNTsisabouttwofoldthatofsemiconductingone.Theadsorptiono

5、fDMMPonthehigherchiralanglenanotubeswasKeywords:alsoinvestigatedandtheresultsindicatethatnanotube’schiralityincreasestheadsorptioncapabilityofNerveagentsSWCNTsthetubebuthowevertheadsorptioncharacteristicistypicalforthephysisorption.Furthermore,co-AdsorptionadsorptionoftwoDM

6、MPmoleculesontheSWCNTsasasingle-layer/bi-layerofadsorbedmoleculesasSensorswellastheadsorptionofoneDMMPmoleculeontheCNTbundlesconsistingofthreeSWCNTshasalsoDensityfunctionaltheorybeenexamined.Theobtainedresultsrevealthatforboththeconsideredsystemsthebindingenergywasincreased
