3、ineduniquevarianceinallthreeoftheseparent–childrelationalqualities,overtheconstructsofmaternalwarmthandcontrol.Inaddition,theinteractionoffilialpietywithmaternalcontrolexplaineduniquevarianceinperceivedmaternalsupportandmother–childconflicts,butnotrelationshipdepth.Resultsestab-lishedthepoten

6、04).FilialpietyisbasedontheConfucianideathatbecauseone’slifeisattributablesolelytoone’sparents,childrenshouldshowgratitudetowardtheirparentsinamyriadofways.Forexample,childrenshouldloveandrespecttheirparents,bypreservingfamilyhonor,andshowingfinancial,emotional,andphysicalcareforparents,espe
