2、erearemoresellersthanchartsliesintheirbuyers,thepriceshouldfall.Inthistechnicalanalysisarticle,wefocusonaabilitytofilterouttypeofchartthatattemptstocapturethebattlebetweensupplyanddemand:short-termpricethepointandfigurechart.fluctuationsthatPointandfigurechartshavebeen
3、inuseforover100years,yettheyexistinrelativeobscuritycomparedtobarchartsandcandlesticks.Theiruseful-occurduringlonger,nessliesintheirabilitytofilteroutmarket“noise”—short-termpricefluctua-moreestablishedtionsthatoccurduringlonger,moreestablishedtrends.Theydifferfromthet
4、rends.Theydiffermoreconventionalchartsinthattheyignorethepassageoftimeanddonotfromthemoretaketradingvolumeintoaccount—theyareonlyaffectedbypricemove-conventionalchartsments.Figure1isanexampleofapointandfigurechartforCiscoSystems,inthattheyareonlywhichcoversdailypricemo
