3、ysisofthenatureoftrustatwork.Buildingontheresultsofanearlierstudy,useismadeofthefacet-theoreticalapproachtogenerateadefinitionalframeworkoftrust,whichfocusesonthecharacteristicsofthetrustedpersonthatcontributetothedevelopmentoftrust.Usingitemsdevelopedontheba
4、sisofamappingsentence,hypothesesregardingtherelationsbetweenthedefinitionalframeworkandempiricalobservationsweretestedthroughsmallestspaceanalysis(SSA)ofdatacollectedfromasampleof398bankandhospitalemployees.Theresultsdemonstratestrongsupportforthedefinitionals
5、ystemandshowaclearassociationwithresultsofpriorre-searchthatidentifyperceptionsofability,integrity,fairness,andopennessaskeydeterminantsoftrust.Theempiricalstructureclearlyreflectstheattitudinalnatureofinterpersonaltrustatworkandtheitemsempiricallydistinguish
