4、rationInternationalLandCoalition,2011].Landgrabbingisdrivenforthecropsplantedintheacquiredland,wecalculatethebyaneedforagriculturalland.Inmanycases,however,thegreenandbluewaterappropriatedbylandinvestorsunderlackofadequatefreshwaterresourcesinthegrabbingcountryavarietyofirriga
5、tionscenarios.Wealsodeterminetheisalsoamajorcontributingfactor[Bossioetal.,2012;greywaterfootprintastheamountofwaterrequiredtoWoodhouse,2012;Rullietal.,2013].Thus,landgrabbingdilutetoallowablestandardsthepollutionresultingfromgoeshand-in-handwithaprocessofwaterappropriation9fe
6、rtilizerapplications.Wefoundthatabout380×10[Anseeuwetal.,2012].Despitetheextentofthephenomenon31myrofrainwaterisappropriatedwiththe43millionhaanditsimplicationsonenvironmentandsocieties,onlyfewofreportedcontractareaacquiredbyagri-investorsscientificanalyseshaveattemptedaquanti
