3、,whichismeasuredanddigi-occurringvariationstoproducearandombitstring.Inthispaper,tizedbyothercomponentsofthePUFcircuit.ThedigitizedweevaluateaPUFwhichleveragesresistancevariationswhichresponsesarethencomparedinavarietyofcombinationstopro-occurintransmissiongates(TGs)of

4、ICs.Wealsoinvestigateaduceadigitalbitstring.novelon-chiptechniqueforconvertingthevoltagedropsproducedThePUFresponseisanaloginnature,e.g.,itcanbeavoltagebyTGsintoadigitalcode,i.e.,avoltage-to-digitalconverterdroporthepropagationdelayofasignalthroughthePUFprimi-(VDC).The

5、analysisiscarriedoutondatameasuredfromchipstive.Theanalognatureoftheunderlyingrandomvariablemakesubjectedtotemperaturevariationsovertherangeof-40oCtothePUFsensitivetoenvironmentalvariationssuchastemperatureoandpowersupplynoise.SeveralimportantapplicationsofaPUF+85Candv

6、oltagevariationsof+/-10%ofthenominalsupplyrequirethattheyproducethesamebitstringforafixedchallenge.voltage.TheTGPUFandVDCproducehighqualitybitstringsTherefore,PUFarchitecturesmustbebothrandomandresilienttothatperformexceptionallywellunderstatisticalmetricsincludingnoise
