3、zationdividesChinaintotworadicallydifferenteras.Tosomeextent,Chinesemustwatchwistfullyasthepre-globalizationworlddriftsawayonitsraftofmemory,castinshadesoftradtionaletiquettesandcustoms,althoughitisecnomically-underdevelopedandtechnogically-backward.Meanwhile,thepost-globalizationerawitnesses
4、agiant-likegrowthofChinainnationalstrength.Butactuallytheconsequencesofglobalizationisascaryprospect.Developmentalinterdependencecutsbothways.Globalization,poweredbyeconomicandtechnologicalimprovement,hasbroughtwithittheso-calledculturalconflicts.Wemustconfrontthefact:globalization'spromisema
5、yexceeditsperil—buttheperilisstillreal.Itisfortunatethatthereisabrighterside,agrowingchorusofdissentingvoiceswhorealizethefallingtrendencyoftraditionalculturewhenitisbesigedbyvariousinfluentmulticultures.Thatdoesn’tmeanwehavetojointhethedemostrationofantiglobalization.HereIwishtoclarifyonepro
6、position,thatisglobalizationisinlinewithmodernization,fortheinevitableoutcomeofmodernizationisglobalization.AccordingtoMarx,theproductiveforceisthemostactivefactorandthereisnothingcanwithholditsdevelopment.Despiteamyriadofcriticism,questionsandprotests,nobodycanstopglobalization,whichhasgiven
