4、etwodistinctiveformsofsocialidentificationinorganizationalsettings.Becauseneuroticindividualsarehighlymotivatedtoreduceperceiveduncertainty,theywilltendtoidentifycognitivelywithgroups.Extravertedindividuals,ontheotherhand,arehighlymotivatedtoenhancehowtheyfeelab
5、outthemselvesandthusidentifyaffectivelywithgroups.Acrossthreestudies,wedevelopmeasuresofcognitiveandaffectiveidentificationandthenshowthatneuroticismispositivelyrelatedtocognitiveidentification,whereasextraversionispositivelyrelatedtoaffec-tiveidentification.Weals
