3、urcessinceitreflectssomekindofspiritualrelationaboutmankindtonaturalenvironmentandbuiltenvironment.ThroughoutthehistoryinChinaandabroad,thereappearedbeautifulormagnificentlandscapesfromdynastytodynasty,manyofwhichhadbeenvisitedbymanyofitsdescendants.However,peoplehavegots

4、omeideaoftouristresourcessolatethatwecouldrealizedthesharpdifferenceindepthandwidthoftouristactivitiesbetweentodayandyesterday.Inanotherword,theprocessthatresourceshavechangedintotouristresources,eventouristproductsisjustanotherprocessduringwhichtouristresourceshavebeenre

5、cognizedgraduallyandresoundingly.Now,researchershavesomecommoninsomeinternalandexteriorcharacteristicsoftouristresources.Ononehand,itsinternalcharacteristicsrefertoimmovability,non-renewability,ecologicalendowment,reutilization,frangibilityandetc;Ontheotherhand,itsexterio

6、rcharacteristicsrefertovariety,timeliness,economicalandculturaltendenciesandetc.Duetotheinducementandbarrieroftheinternalandexteriorfeaturesoftouristresources,thereappearinginnovativephenomenoncontinuouslyinthedevelopmentoftouristresources,whichsubsequentlyresultinthereco

7、gnitionofanotherfeatureoftouristresource-theextensibility.However,thoughtheutilizationanddevelopmentoftheextensibilityoftouristresourceshaveexistedinpractices,therenotsystematicunderstandingstheoretically.Whereas,thispapertriesmakeitclearthattouristresourceshavebeenendowe
