4、ilsonitslowerdeck.Itwillserveasoneofthetransportationbackbonesforthisever-expandingcity,connectingthetwobusiestbusinessdistrictsofthecity:YuzhongandNanan.Becausethebridgeislocatedatthecenterofthecityandisvisiblefrommostpartsofthecity,aestheticsisaveryimportan
5、tmatter.Aftercarefulstudyofthelocation,aslendertied-archwasselectedtocarrythedoublelevelbridgegirderovertheYangtzeRiver.Uponcompletion,its420-mspanwillbetheworld’slongesttied-archspanforcombinedrailandhighwaytraffic.Thesidespansare102meterslong.Keywords:Bridg
