2、oposednewormodifiedfacilitiesassociatedwiththeprojectcomplywithapplicablereliabilitystandards.2.Assesstheimpactoftheproposedprojectonthereliabilityofthepre-existingpowersystem.3.Evaluatealternativestoeliminateadversereliabilityimpacts,ifany,resultingfromtheproposedInterconnection.4.

3、Assesstheimpactoftheproposedprojectontransmissiontransferlimits,consideringthermal,voltageandstabilitylimitations,andestimatetheincreaseordecreaseintheTransferCapabilityofaffectedtransmissioninterfaces.Allprojectsgreaterthanorequalto80MWwouldbesubjecttoafullSRIScoveringthefourobject

4、ivesabove.Thisrequirementcoversgenerationexpansionorrepoweringprojectsthatincreasethecapacityofanexistingplantby80MWormore.AfullSRISshallberequiredforproposedtransmissionfacilitiesthatareexpectedtoaffecttheTransferCapabilityofoneormoretransmissioninterfaces,includingtheinterfacesbet

5、weenNewYorkandotherControlAreas,by80MWormore.Projectsgreaterthan10MWbutlessthan80MWconnectedtothesystematavoltagelevelof115kVorgreaterwouldbesubjecttoapartialSRIScoveringthefirstthreeobjectivesabove.TransmissionprojectsforwhichthegreatestimpactontheTransferCapabilityofanyinterfaceis

6、expectedtobegreaterthan10MW,butlessthan80MW,mustsatisfythefirstthreeoftheobjectiveslistedabove,butareexemptfromthefourthobjective.AnSRISisnotrequiredforproposedgenerationorloadprojectsof10megawatts(MW)orless,orforprojectslessthan80MWifconnectedtothesystematavoltagelevelbelow115kV.Th

7、isincludesgenerationexpansionorrepoweringprojectsthatincreasethecapacityofanexistingplantby10MWorless.SuchprojectsaresubjecttostudyorreviewbytheConnectingTransmissionOwner(CTO).AnSRISisnotrequiredforproposedtransmissionprojectsthatarenotexpectedtoaffecttheTransferCapabilityofanytran
